Certes, Al Gore est aujourd\u2019hui surtout un activiste, alors que John Kerry exerce des fonctions diplomatiques. Mais ce sont bien ces positions divergentes qui ont largement anim\u00e9 les discussions de la Climate Week \u00e0 New York au sein d'une communaut\u00e9 pourtant a priori unie dans la lutte climatique.<br>\n<br>\nL\u2019Agence Internationale de l\u2019Energie a ferm\u00e9 ces d\u00e9bats en publiant une mise \u00e0 jour de son rapport <a href=\"https:\/\/www.iea.org\/news\/the-path-to-limiting-global-warming-to-1-5-c-has-narrowed-but-clean-energy-growth-is-keeping-it-open\" style=\"mso-line-height-rule: exactly;-ms-text-size-adjust: 100%;-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;color: #007C89;font-weight: normal;text-decoration: underline;\">1.5 degr\u00e9 de 2021 qu\u2019il est indispensable de conna\u00eetre<\/a>. Il semblerait que <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/business\/environment\/2023-track-become-another-record-breaking-year-temperature-hits-new-high-2023-10-05\/\" target=\"_blank\" style=\"mso-line-height-rule: exactly;-ms-text-size-adjust: 100%;-webkit-text-size-adjust: 100%;color: #007C89;font-weight: normal;text-decoration: underline;\">nous soyons peut-\u00eatre d\u00e9j\u00e0 sur une trajectoire de 1.4 degr\u00e9<\/a>. Et pourtant, optimiste, l'AIE pense que la trajectoire 1.5C est encore atteignable ! La principale raison tient \u00e0 la croissance record observ\u00e9e dans le d\u00e9ploiement des technologies de d\u00e9carbonation \u2013 solaire notamment, et dans les investissements. L\u2019AIE met enfin tout le monde d\u2019accord, et notamment des milieux \u00e9conomiques divis\u00e9s sur la question climatique pour dire que les actifs port\u00e9s par des \u00e9nergies fossiles vont irr\u00e9m\u00e9diablement se d\u00e9pr\u00e9cier au-del\u00e0 de 2030 et qu\u2019il convient dans tenir compte d\u2019ores et d\u00e9j\u00e0 dans les \u00e9valuations d\u2019investissements de moyen et long terme. Ce qui devrait m\u00e9caniquement venir renforcer la croissance des investissements plus \u00ab verts \u00bb.<br>\n<br>\nEt la nature dans tout cela ? Disons le tout net : Certes, le lancement officiel de la TNFD va aider entreprises et investisseurs \u00e0 reporter et donc explorer comment mieux ma\u00eetriser l\u2019impact de leurs activit\u00e9s sur la pr\u00e9servation de la nature. C\u2019est une bonne chose et la TNFD a la m\u00e9rite d\u2019apporter un cadre consensuel et actionnable sur un sujet complexe.
