Ksapa provides 3 intertwined activities for impact:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>We <a href=\"https:\/\/ksapa.org\/advise\/\">advise<\/a> our clients (corporates, public authorities, financial institutions\u2026) on Sustainability, Business &amp; Human Rights, Climate, ESG &amp; Impact Finance.<\/li>\n<li>We <a href=\"https:\/\/ksapa.org\/invest\/\">design and implement scalable innovative solutions<\/a> and investment programs generating positive impact.<\/li>\n<li>We provide <a href=\"https:\/\/ksapa.org\/advocate\/\">open-source content<\/a> to inform and inspire.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Ksapa brings together multi-dimensional skills (sustainability, agronomy, finance, rural development, digital \u2026) and cross-sectoral expertise within its core team and its network to develop scalable, operational and innovative solutions.<\/p>\n<p>In particular, Ksapa developed the SUTTI initiative \u2013 <a href=\"https:\/\/sutti.org\/\">Scale Up Training Traceability Impact<\/a> \u2013 to transform the first mile of agricultural chains, assisting farmers all along the journey and strengthening agricultural value chains at the same time.<\/p>\n<p>Through SUTTI, Ksapa works with corporates, financial institutions, public authorities, development institutions, civil society, and academia to align business models with current social and environmental stakes.<\/p>\n<p>To date, Ksapa has developed &amp; implemented several <a href=\"https:\/\/sutti.org\/case-studies\/\">agricultural transition programs<\/a> on several value chains including natural rubber, coconut, rice, or cocoa in multiple countries in Asia &amp; Africa.<\/p>\n<p><span data-text-color=\"primary\"><strong>PROJECT DESCRIPTION<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ksapa is supporting a large international food &amp; beverage corporate active in the Philippines, which has pledged to achieve Net Zero GHG Emissions by 2050 by implementing climate actions to achieve GHG Reductions or Removals, in particular on the supply of coconut products sourced from the Philippines.<\/p>\n<p>This project adopts a value-chain approach whereby Ksapa has been working with the corporate as well as its local suppliers of coconut products (desiccated coconut) based in Quezon Province (Bondoc Peninsula) in the Philippines and procuring coconut copra from smallholder farmers.<\/p>\n<p>Building on their respective agenda, partners have entered into a partnership for the development of an agroforestry project to support coconut farmers towards regenerative agriculture &amp; climate action combined with high social impact. The aim of this partnership is to design, pilot, and scale a program with multiple objectives:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Generate GHG emissions reductions &amp; removals (to be certified under international voluntary carbon standard)<\/li>\n<li>Improve coconut plantations\u2019 adaptation to climate change (water storage, soil fertility\u2026)<\/li>\n<li>Increase &amp; diversify farmers\u2019 on-farm revenues (improved yields, intercropping implementation, decrease production costs\u2026)<\/li>\n<li>Support women &amp; youth empowerment and inclusion in local value chains<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff\" data-text-color=\"primary\"><b>POSITION SUMMARY<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Our French mission-driven company is looking to recruit a motivated &amp; professional individual to assist in the design &amp; long-term implementation of a GHG removal project on the coconut value chain in the Philippines. Position aims to provide technical support for the development, implementation, and monitoring of voluntary carbon project.<\/p>\n<p>This role involves supporting project design document (PDD), supporting MRV (Monitoring, Reporting, and Verification) processes, and ensuring compliance with voluntary carbon standards.
