2026: The Year Hope Shifted

For the first time this year, renewable energy generated more electricity than coal on a global scale. The signals are there: solar and wind investments are breaking records, absorbing the entire growth in global electricity demand, and local communities are seizing the solutions. Meanwhile, in response to the deadlock of recent COPs, countries representing half the world's population gathered at the Santa Marta conference in Colombia to define a shared agenda around two defining priorities: phasing out fossil fuels and ensuring a just transition. The wheels are turning.

A historic shift โ€” yet an almost silent one, at a moment when all eyes are fixed on conflicts in the Middle East, the Strait of Hormuz, and the looming economic downturn.

To be sure, the battle is far from won. Regulatory uncertainty is keeping some businesses paralyzed, resistance to the transition persists, access to clean energy remains deeply unequal, and time is running short.

Faced with this dilemma, we must hold course and act: map the solutions and initiatives that, at every scale, can allow each of us to make our markโ€ฆ and move forward by putting them into practice.

A just transition is not a utopia. It is a reality under construction, and every contribution counts. What if 2026 were also the year your contribution to this shift became decisive?

Ksapa and its entire network remain resolutely committed to this collective effort. Let's talk.

Reshaping Global Trade: The Sutti-Indonesia Win-Win Model
๐Ÿ‘‰ What if trade resilience started with the farmers and workers at the bottom of your supply chain?

As global trade fractures under tariff pressure and tightening due diligence regulations, the Indonesia model we have been developing for 5+ years offers a different playbook: one where smallholder empowerment, digital traceability, and financial inclusion aren't social add-ons โ€” they're the foundation of a more competitive and compliant supply chain.

Ksapa's Sutti platform is proving it on the ground, delivering measurable outcomes for local communities, sourcing companies, and impact investors alike.

ESG Investments: Applying a Total Cost of Ownership Lens
๐Ÿ‘‰ ESG too expensive? You might be doing the math wrong

The debate over ESG return on investment often stumbles on a fundamental framing error: comparing the cost of an initiative against its immediate benefits, while ignoring what inaction actually costs โ€” in regulatory exposure, reputational damage, deferred operational costs, and shrinking access to capital.

The total cost of ownership approach resets the equation. It gives executives and investors the right framework to ask better questions โ€” and make sharper strategic decisions. Ready to reframe your ESG investment strategy? โ†’ Let's talk

People Behind Affected Communities: Definition and Engagement Process
๐Ÿ‘‰ "Affected communities" : three words at the heart of every due diligence framework โ€” and yet so rarely well-defined.

CSDDD, CSRD, UN Guiding Principles: every major human rights regulation requires companies to identify and engage affected communities. But who exactly are they? How do you define them, consult them, and include them in a credible way โ€” without falling into the theater of participation?

This Ksapa briefing paper lays the groundwork for a rigorous, operational approach, designed for companies and investors who want to move beyond box-checking compliance
